This year’s theme was “I Belong” and students had the opportunity to contribute their own unique interpretation of this theme through original artwork in one of six areas:
* Dance Choreography * Literature * Photography * Film Production * Music Composition * Visual Arts
This contest aims to recognize the creativity of as many students as possible, and of all abilities. Awardees in Excellence in each category will go on to compete at the Newport Mesa Unified School District level. Do you know a teacher, administrator, parent, volunteer or coach who has gone above and beyond in their commitment to our PTA or CDM community? If so, please take the time to nominate them for a CDM PTA Honorary Service Award. This award is given every year to an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.
